As pretty much everybody knows by now, Benicio Del Toro will be a werewolf in The Wolfman, coming out in February. The first trailer came out, and it was a pretty standard outline of the film with a few action shots and music that you’ve heard in countless other previews. I saw it and was underwhelmed. Take a look:
A few days ago, the second trailer came out, and it looks like a completely different film. It’s dark, moody, and much, much less narration cluttering up the atmosphere. Now this looks like a film that I want to see:
It’s interesting to see how a change in editing can make the same product look so different.
The questions that I have now are, which The Wolfman are we getting? And which would you rather see?

I don't know if I can handle Benicio Del Toro as the wolfman. Or if I can handle a wolfman at all, with the crappy takes on it over the years.

The first one explains the story more the second seems like it uses more epic shots. I would probably be more compelled to watch the second. I like Emily Blunt and Benicio can do no wrong in my eyes. "I'll flip you, flip you for real."
